I think he is talking about the GTR video from yesterday. It ran a 6.93? in the quarter but labeled a 6 second car. It takes alot more to get it closer to the 6.1 or 6.0 second mark

I figured as much, but in racing palance, the first digit is the indicator. A 10 sec ond car, is one that does the 1/4 in less than 11 seconds. Its been that way for a very long time, kinda dumb to argue about it now.

The title is the misleading part.

It didn’t do it in six seconds. It’s in the sixes, but it did not run a 6.0 or six flat. As you know already drag cars are usually spoken about in ranges, but if, say, you show up to a 10.0 index race with a car that’s “in the 10s” you will probably get your ass kicked back on to the trailer in the first round.
